(1) Taj Mahal (Agra, UP)

  • This is a sign of love, Shah Jahan made for his wife Mumtaz.
  • It is made of white marble, its color seems to change slightly from morning to evening.
  • It took 22 years to build, thousands of people were employed.
  • Delicious dishes: At night, the moonlight shines brightly!
  • Red Fort (Delhi)
    • The large fort of Lal Plateau was built by Shah Jahan in 1648.
    • The Mughal emperors used to live here, big celebrations were also held here.

    • Boats are also available from here to Elephanta Caves.
  • 5. Hawa Mahal (Jaipur)
    • Pink color palace, 953 small windows in it.
    • Built in 1799, the name “Hawa Mahal” is because the breeze comes in comfortably.
    • The ladies of the king’s family used to watch the spectacle outside from here.
    • From the outside, it looks like a velvet hive!
  • 6. India Gate (Delhi)
    • The 42-metre-long Yudh Monument, founded in 1931 for the Solders of the World War.
    • It is a yellow-red plateau with more than 13,000 names written on it.
    • The lights are on at night, it is different fun to roam.
    • There’s grass nearby, it’s also good for picnics.
  • 7. Lotus Temple (Delhi)
    • The lotus-flower-like temple, built in 1986, made of white marble.
    • People of all religions come here, and  it is a prayer house for the people.
    • There is so much peace inside that the mind becomes happy.
    • If you look at it from above, you see 27 petals, the top for the photo!
  • 8. Charminar (Hyderabad)
    • The Char Minarwala Square Monument, built by the Sultan in 1591.
    • It was built in the joy of ending a major disease.
    • High in the middle of Old City, you can enjoy the nearby Lad Bazaar.
    • Climb up and the view of the city is cool (if allowed!).
  • 9. Konark Sun Temple (Odisha)
    • The temple of the Sun God, built like a chariot, dates back to the 13th century.
    • There are carvings of mills, animals, and dancers on the stone.
    • Built by King Narasimhadeva, is now a UNESCO site.
    • The wheel tells the time like a high clock!
  • 10. Golden Temple (Amritsar)
    • The holy place of the Sikhs is plated with gold, the name is Harmandir Sahib.
    • Built in the late 1500s, it is in the middle of the water (Amrit Sarovar).
    • Open to all, free langar is served every day.
    • It is a different scene to see the reflection in the water at night.
